We stayed at the youth hostel, Edith Cavell, in three wooden huts (one communal and two bank huts) on the top of the mountain with no electricity, just firewood for heat.
Arriving late in the dark with temperatures around zero degrees Celsius we were happy to sit in the heated communal hut and prepared our dinner on a gas stove.
